Snowy Rainbow Sock, in this unique sock design we blend together two extraordinary natural phenomena into one extraordinary pair of Sock & Sock socks. Snow, a widely known phenomenon in the Netherlands that occurs when water droplets turn into ice crystals that stick together on their way to earth to form beautiful snowflakes. And a rainbow, which is created when white sunlight refracts into raindrops, causing all the colors of the color spectrum to appear.
The latter phenomenon was only scientifically explained in the 13th century by the well-known Persian astrologer Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi, affectionately called “Qutie”. Before that time, the rainbow was seen in many cultures as a symbol of hope and protection by Gods. There was also old folklore saying that you can find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. However, the rainbow moves with the person observing it, so no one has ever managed to reach the end of the rainbow.
Until today… When you opened this yellow bag, you managed to find the pot of gold. Because you, yes you, are unique and extraordinary. And that’s why you deserve an extraordinary sock. A snowy rainbow. Just for you. Enjoy!
